am I the only one who thinks Tennessee is going to be pretty good next year?

I think so too. Aside from Alabama and Florida, aren't all their big games at home?

I haven't seen the contract for McElpain yet but Foley doesn't do buy-out clauses.

He's more like, hit the bricks if you don't want to be here.

It is true, we do. But Daddy had to lock it in a trust though so there is only so much we can blow up our nose in a single season.

Suffice to say- yall have a window to have the most overpaid coach in the SEC if you want the honor.

Bama could pull that off too. Buy out clauses are for stepping stone jobs.

If he is fired after the 2016 season (which is the earliest I could see him being fired), he would be owed just over $8.5M minus his future earnings through 2/28/21.

So, nowhere near $10M

That makes sense. Bama is not a stepping stone job either. Don't need a buy out clause like some schools.

Try living in Tennessee and listening to Vol fans make excuses every day for why Butch can't win games. They act like the talent they had on the field was inferior to what any other team has ever had in the history of football. My grandmother could have led them to victory over the gators this year and they still lost.

Truly Phenomenal Post. Outstanding work.

It must suck to be winless against a team that's not in the top 20.

eh, they had very comparable success before their current gigs, and Sumlin walked into a waaaaaaay better situation at A&M than Butch did at Tennessee.
