Background:
Before the Zone was built in 98-99 there was a tunnel that allowed for direct line of sight to the scoreboard:

With no more tunnel after completion of the Zone they put up a scoreboard to continue the tradition of Rev being able to see the score:

Would Texas AM get another breed of a mascot dog? Collies are kinda unoriginal.

I wanna know if State will put the memorial to their dogs somewhere else. The stadium thing is kind of unoriginal.

Yea...ANY comment pertaining to the bonfire tragedy with any trace of levity or as an attack will cause a BIG problem. It's just a line that should never be crossed..you just never know who might have known the families of the affected.

They've "retired" 1 or 2 Collies (VI or VII)due to the fact that they didn't "Play well with others".
Not unusual for Collies.

Sounds like you're mad that we have real legit traditions like the cowbells and tailgating on top of water towers and all that Texas A&M has is a pet cemetery and 12th man story that makes no sense whatsoever.

I guess you're right. That is why we makes threads about cowbells, and grinders don't make threads about Reveille. O wait.

Oklahoma did the same thing with their first mascot. I love pointing this out to Sooners. They look super confused.

They buried a wagon?

That's just dumb.

its just the grass that immediately surrounds the MSC. there are signs and everything. you can walk on any other patch of grass that your heart desires

Unless you're in the Corps and not a senior. But that has nothing to do with memorials and such, it's just another way of screwing with cadets. (AFAIK it is still a Corps senior privilege to walk on grass, but who knows what those youngsters can do now. Hell, they may even allow freshmen to look out of windows!) 33 years later, I still won't walk on grass if there is a sidewalk that will get me where I want to go. Got in my head pretty good, they did.

Hopefully during the remodel we give the Reveilles a badass video board and some ribbon boards. They deserve better than the mediocre scoreboard setup they currently have IMO
