some higher level boosters are not even making the trip to watch them "get blown out". I think they have a very good chance to keep the game closer than the predicted score. Bret has put all his eggs in this basket. The bad for this is AU is not overlooking this game like it has in the past since its the conference opener.

Auburn has the ability to blow the hogs out but I think Ark is going to keep it close. A lot will depend on Auburn's defense and getting Ark off the field, if Ark can maintain drives to keep Au off the field its going to be a closer game, if AU can get the off the field expect this game to get ugly fast.

I'm guessing a close first 2.5-3 qtrs then AU pull out after that.

But then your defense allowed a true freshman to score the final 10 points of the game, including a 99 yard TD drive.

I'm expecting kind of the opposite. I think we come out swinging and get up big with the quickness. Then, the Fightin' Bielemas make it interesting to close out the half with a touchdown gallop of 3 yards to ice their 7 yard drive after a fumbled exchange from Johnson to Thomas. This puts the Hogs in striking distance, only down 21 at half. Anyone's game.

I don't think many at all expect it to be a blowout. People think the spread is too high. How close the game is will come down to their secondary vs our WRs. Last year we beat them running and this year I think we come out throwing more. Arky may score on the backup to make it seem closer than its really was.

Wouldn't really call it a drive, but yeah. I just hate it when people act like the only reason the game was close was because we played against a backup QB. Mettenberger played 3 quarters and we were winning even when he was in.

They are 21 point underdogs.

21 point underdogs win outright ~5% of the time.

Yeah, I don't think this will be a very good game and will get ugly in the 2nd half.

We have more talent at WE position than ever before. I'd argue this is the most talented set of receivers on the field at the same time in auburn history. We will have to wait till Lau to play a team who can play our receivers straight up and they might not be able to on everytone.
