The avatar is a joke. It's meant to be funny, kind of like your Ski Mississippi avatar. Do you do a lot of snow skiing in Pascagoula?
If he miraculously wins out and all of the problems are magically made to disappear, then maybe he could retain his job.
But the chances of that happening are almost zero.

Tell us wise one, what would you rate UF's chance to win out?

Youre an alright dude. I can accept that answer.

6-5 regular season

But the Idaho game confuses me. I'll admit that. I cant remember the last time a game was flat out cancelled, never to be made up

I'll agree to contribute towards his salary if they let him stay at Florida....

It shouldn't. The game has been cancelled and won't be made up. Florida has to go 6-5 to be bowl eligible. Every other team can get bowl eligible with 6 losses. Not Florida.

But what if, Florida goes 5-6 and they start saying "Hey, wait a minute - That idaho game was a gimmie." Why cant we replay it or how does that factor in"

Surely, they'd want that win to make it to a bowl?

You root for southern miss....... Unlike your dog shite of a program, we expect to win. And yes the game was cancelled months ago, way to know your shite.

And no they don't care about the Idaho game. Unlike southern miss, a shitty December bowl doesn't excite the fanbase.

Aww cmon now. Atleast you cant call me a fairweather fan. Making fun of a lowly CUSA team, doesnt hurt my feelings. I see that you expect to win, Wish in one hand, shite in the other - see which one fills up first. I was giving props to your team. Any moron of a fan, including your dumbass would settle for a december bowl game vs. no bowl game at all. At this point, winning against Eastern Kentucky should fire the fanbase up.

Both teams have already stated they will not make it up, so it's moot at this point.

That's great and all, but the fact that we are even near that point is pretty fricking embarrassing. Bowl or not at that point, there'd be new coach in 2015, plain and simple.

as for your OP, they'd have to win out and get to ATL to even remotely have a chance at being considered, but even 8-9 wins in year 4 still isn't enough, quite honestly.

I believe there is an appeal process if you are 5-6 and then if there are still open slots you can get in. Muschamp's job security however doesn't rest on getting to a bowl game. Muschamp is back this year because of an insane amount of injuries, you can't use that season to measure improvement.

The "if there are open slots" after all other bowl eligible teams have been taken is the key.
