If nothing else, this gives me a lot of hope for the Auburn offensive line under Grimes and Russell. Robinson went from reasonably under the radar to possible top 3 to 5 pick in the draft in one year. We have talent behind him, there will be a drop off, but we have talent behind him that has now had a year under the coaching staff so they could be a great unit next year and the years following.

Here's a better question. Is there a fanbase in the SEC not LSUsessed?? No. Greg Robinson looks like he has all of the tools to be great in the NFL... as long as it doesn't rain.

Texans are a dome team correct? Looks like the stars are aligning.

4.84's for everybody...

LSU OG Trai Turner ran matching unofficial times of 4.84. Ties him at No. 1 with OTs Greg Robinson (Auburn) & Matt Patchan (Boston College).

Its a joke about butthurt LSU fans on this board who downplayed his commitment to Auburn by saying that he was "only a Guard".

Most LSU fans were very upset we lost Robinson. Most hated losing Robinson far more than Trovon Reed.

Don't believe everything you read on message boards. A lot of message board fans downplay guys who pick other schools that their school really wanted. It's the same for all fans regardless of school.

Robinson was always a big-time loss for LSU and great "get" for Auburn.

btw, I'm watching the NFL Network Combine coverage and they just rated him the #1 OT in the draft (don't know what this guard talk is all about).

When is the last time a guard went #1 overall?

I'm confused. Im seeing media guys on the twitter say he will be an OT in the NFL.

Yea, he's an offensive tackle (left) all the way...

During his recruitment, LSU fans said he was nothing more than an offensive guard, and that he couldn't play tackle.

The OG comment is sarcasm based on early comments by LSU fans concerning GRobs ability and talent at OT.

My apologies. I didn't follow his recruiting so that excellent setup went completely over my head. Carry on.

Hopefully things are about to change with O-Line recruiting.

Jeff Grimes is a top-notch OL recruiter. Decent coach, top-notch recruiter.

Dammit.

Texans already have a better LT and no one is trading up for him so there is zero chance. It's QB or Clowney.

Doubtful Greg goes #1. However, it does seem that he is the best LT in this class. I didn't watch A&M a lot this year. I was not overly impressed with Matthews when I saw him against Auburn. I am sure he is very talented. I am not sure he would be getting this much attention if he came from a different family.
