I hate mississippi state and they hate us and were not exactly "national scene" material.

Most hate towards UGA would come from their rivals, Georgia Tech, UF, and Auburn. The 2007 season on this board, there was quite a bit of tension between LSU and UGA fans at the end of the season. I have yet to attend a game in Athens, so I don't have a good feel for UGA or their fans.

Judging by the Georgia boards UGA fans have the most mutual respect for LSU (first) and Bama (second). Even during the 2008/2009 and two SECCG matchups it seemed UGA and LSU fans got along pretty well.
Techies have inferiority complex about UGA in same way as Barners do about their big brother Al.

Impossible to hate those beautiful Georgia peaches (girls, of course). Also, a very straight-up football program with a good man at coach. Great school too.

It's just here, but I have some friends that goes to Rival SEC schools, and other than my UT and UF friends, most of them do not hate Georgia at all.
I think that's kind of cool. :)
Yea well a good portion of the time I was around UGA fans I thought I had mistakenly ventured into a dick convention.

one of my most disliked teams in the sec. been to the games here and there and they come across with this air of superiority that i just dont get. i mean what have they won? nice few years since 2000 but what else in the last 25 years? jmo

Most of the UGA fans that I have met have been pretty cool. In 2009, we lost a heartbreaker in Athens, and only one person talked shite... and she was sloppy drunk and barking on the sidewalk.
Not a huge fan of the team, but the fans aren't as bad as some Gamecock fans will try to make them out to be.

I don't hate Georgia. To me they are just a team we play every year, nothin more. Though if you were to ask a UGA, Kentucky, or South Carolina fan which teams they hate, most of them would have Tennessee number 1 or 2 on their list. I always thought that was interesting, considering we aren't rivals with any of them. I can understand UK somewhat, but never really understood why UGA, and South Carolina fans have so much hate towards UT.
