LSU is having its hard-earned win taken away from them, so I think it's understandable that they find it unfair to have to beat a good Bama team again.
It's win-win for Bama either way. If they'd admit that rather than pretending they have balls of steel, I think more people could tolerate the trash talk. One more loss doesn't hurt as bad as a shot for a rematch helps.
Excellent analysis, but you can't fully grasp the hubris of the entitled. It is foreign to those who have to actually win on the field to earn their accolades.
Like LSUChicageaux stated in the trough before the game of the century: Teams like Bama don't lose, they "un-win"....then claim the victory later.

If LSU wins by 21 in January, one of the greatest seasons in the history of college football will be ignored while the media/bama fans (one in the same) either:
Makes excuses for Bama's blowout loss OR
Discuss the fact that the wrong team played LSU (even though they were the ones that lobbied for it)
Folks, you cannot beat the entitled at anything. Never forget this.

Bama fans will make excuses for sure. That's as given as the sun rising in the east and water being wet.
But I don't think the media will tow that line. There is already talk of this LSU team being the greatest ever in the BCS era. I've heard numerous ESPN talking heads say this already. And there's still two games left.
