I won't deny he's injury prone. But sandbagging his junior year is ludicrous

Fournette was 1-2 against Auburn in his career.

Ran over.
Got beat and took himself out of the game.
Same difference right?

You realize he came back in and finished the game, despite being hurt?
I guess that doesn't fit your trolling narrative though.

Does his career record help you cope with having to watch him run over(or under) your players during that timespan?

I can't blame him if he does sit out the rest.
I think waiting to come back vs Ole Miss or Bama is not a good idea, he won't be in game shape and we don't need any turnovers in those games.
Would love to see him run out of the same sets Guice did against Missouri though instead of facing 9 in the box.

Auburn just consider yourself lucky that you don't play LSU again this year, even at your house!!!

Fournette against Auburn:
10 car 42 yds
19 car 228 yds
16 car 106 yds
The only year he really ran us over was that second year. We gave up one big run to him and stifled him the rest of the game this year.
But yeah even if he ran us over three times and we won twice, I would be happier than I would be as a LSU fan

Lucky because we wouldn't be able to move up in the rankings beating a shitty team time and time again?

A man who could barely speak in complete sentences was 8-4 against auburn in his career at LSU.
I guess for your happiness's sake, you better hope we hire someone dumber.

I think one of the reasons Clowney may get unfairly shite on is based on the pretty irresponsible comments Spurrier made regarding his status when he was hurt and then later about his work ethic as well. But that was just ball coach being ball coach
quote:
Spurrier on Clowney: "If he wants to play, we'll welcome him to come play for the team if he wants to. But if he doesn't want to play, he doesn't have to. Simple as that."
on his work ethic
quote:
“It was OK,” Spurrier said, when asked about Clowney's work ethic. "It wasn't like Marcus Lattimore, you know, every player is a little different. But when the ball's snapped, he's got an explosion like you've never seen before."
quote:
Legendary college football coach Steve Spurrier was a guest on the Paul Finebaum show on Wednesday and said he treated the South Carolina defensive star and former No. 1 pick Jadeveon Clowney differently because of what he had at stake financially, USA Today’s Dan Wolken tweeted Thursday.

And yet he has the best record as an LSU coach in your schools history.

he took himself out of the game, when he was upended trying to make a leaping catch, re-injuring his ankle. and he came back in on the final drive when he could barely move

so 45 carries for 376 yards (8.35 ypc and 125 ypg)

Even if you take away his long run (35 yards) he still averaged nearly 5 ypc playing on a bum ankle.

No it's pretty damn clear that you are saying that LSU, who turned Leonard Fournette into the most desirable RB for the NFL since Adrian Peterson, ran him into the ground. He has less fricking carries than any Bama running back ever yet still has the stats. But yes LSU ran him into the ground.
I stand by my assertion that you are dumb.
