2x Super Bowl MVP
Beat Tom Brady twice.

I'd say it's fairly obvious he is.

As a Packers fan, I think he is a VERY close second. Eli has the better stats though and beat better teams.

Close second but because Eli has better stats and played better teams, I give him the edge.

Jeff Rutledge did a heck of a job holding in the 86 and 91 SB victories. Also, held for the Rams loss in 79. I vote for Jeff Rutledge.

If Denver loses this, Eli > Peyton.

But they win NC's under Coach Bryant. Eli played for a puss! Roll Tide!

Irrelevant considering the times, and a loose claim to begin with. Eli threw the ball 40 times in his second SB, and still didn't manage 300 yards. Starr was more efficient.

Debatable. Green Bay, at least, was also much more impressive in their wins (35-10 in SBI, 33-14 in SBII). That includes beating 13-1 Oakland in SBII. I will give Eli props for the winning drive and beating a then-undefeated Pats team, but Starr obliterated his competition and didn't really need to keep slinging it around like Eli did.

Starr takes the cake for sheer decimation of his foes.

Namath is the most overrated player in the history of the NFL. He's famous because of something he said, not because of what he did.

His career stats are complete arse.
