Is Calipari the Nick Saban of basketball?

In some aspects. Both have landed multiple #1 recruiting classes. Both have taken 2 different schools to the national championship game. Both have taken their current school to multiple national championship games...

But as for their records in National Championship games, they're not alike as Saban's record is 4-0 and Calipari is 1-2...so I'd say Saban has done a better job turning those "tremendous talent advantages" into National Championships...

the pros which have level playing field

While this may be the case in some years (as it also is some times with college football), the playing level in the pros is not always level. Are you telling me the NFL dynasty teams (Packers of the 60's, the Steelers of the 70's, the Niners of the 80's, the Cowboys of the 90's, Patriots of the 2000's) didn't have tremendous talent advantages? And even they didn't win every year...it's one thing to have talent, but it's quite another to take that talent and win consistently...and yes, coaching has something to do with it...
