I'm gonna ignore the other guy, because he's clearly stupid.
It was definitely an epic Alabama defeat, no arguing that.
But with Alabama widening the streak to three in a row -- with a fourth this year being a distinct possibility -- I guess you have to take your (moral) victories over 'Bama where you can get them, right?
You may well compete for the West next year. By then, however, I think the damage will have been done, at least as far as the perception war is concerned.

Drumming LSU in death valley is far more impressive than beating WVU at a neutral site or Florida at home.
