Actually, Notre Dame just conveniently avoid the Heisman curse. Bama screwed now.

Heisman curse didn't seem to bother Bama.

Likely because not even Heisman Trophy realized that Ingram won a Heisman.

Didn't bother Cam either. Maybe it only affects teams outside of the Football Gods' Holy Land?

In my world he ran into the teeth of the defense and decided he didn't want to do that any more.

Colt played two good defenses that year before the NC game. Both performances were absolutely god awful. That still would have been a long way from an auto W for Texas even if Colt had stayed in.

In my mind, their defense was the big problem. Both Richardson and Ingram ran roughshod over the Texas D.

Good point. Even had Colt not been injured, he doesn't play defense.

Sabin will be walking with a limp after he breaks his foot off in ND's arse.

I think this is reasonable. We have no chance, no chance at all. Notre Dame is magically going to evolve into a better team because Manatee did not win an award. And I was looking forward to Miami, too. Damn it!

No Chad is sucking for free and Private Pubic is the ankle grabber. Both need to be liquidated Josef Stalin style.

Who cares......he didn't deserve the heisman. His stats aren't outstanding, he isn't the best player at his position nationwide, and if it hadn't been for the tragic day he had when he lost his family members, he wouldn't have even gotten an invite to NY. I am glad the Heisman trust didn't get caught up in the media swell for ND to be all everything and gave the award to the person who deserved it.

I think we need to send Jesse Williams into Teo one time, during the game....like when they play theJumbo.Package.
