Are you saying the AU / LSU game was over at the half?

LSU is the only team similar to Bama that AU has faced.

Exactly, so why in the wide world of fricks would it matter how well LSU's defense played against Auburn? Alabama and LSU are nothing alike, have completely different personnel, run a completely different scheme, etc... LSU has always played the spread type teams tougher because they are smaller and quicker, whereas Alabama has had a tendency to struggle more against teams like Auburn, Texas A&M, etc...

I responded to an auburn fan that was saying A&M's offense was just like Auburn's offense. Did you even see who I responded too?

This "balanced O" shite does not matter one bit. I think Auburn's O is plenty good enough to beat bama. Stack the box. If you think Auburn can't throw the deep ball, then you haven't watched Auburn.

This is the epitome of delusion.
Nick Marshall is 9th in the sec in Y/Attempt. This deep ball you're referring to has gotten NMarshall 9 tds for the season. Also , with such a good deep ball you'd think auburn would have more than just 1 wr in the top 45 in yards. Sammy Coates has all of 30 catches and 5 tds on the season. He does have the best Y/Catch in the SEC. The reason Auburn doesn't throw the ball is because Nick Marshall doesn't throw the ball well. NM not being able to throw the ball is why Auburn doesn't convert as many first downs as other sec teams.
But like I said. Auburn is having a great season. If before the season you would've posted a thread on the sec rant saying that auburn would be playing for the sec west title with one loss in the iron bowl, everyone would say you were crazy

That's the whole AU fan base. They're in a group of 5-7 teams in the SEC that are of the same strength & the games would be tossups if they played, but they think they're a dominant team. Laughable.

Auburn's schedule is ranked ahead of Bama's, so what does that say about Bama's schedule?

'Bout the same. Difference being the dominant Bama nature of the common games.

Auburns offense is not balanced. It hasnt had to be. Auburn has gone with what works until somebody can stop it. Pass second, run first. And yes, I think Auburn will have enough of both to win the game.

You better pray he does, because he will get open when he wants. He can toast pretty much any defensive back.

Ha ha. Yeah his 30 catches for a grand total of 5 tds has bama defensive backs up all night.

Yea, his 22.9 average yard per catch will.

He burnt LSU multiple times.

Apparently those multiple times weren't enough for the "better" team to keep the score closer than 35-21... Maybe auburn should have passed more, what ya think?

Sometimes the "better" team doesn't win.

Quick, tell us how Alabama was better than South Carolina, Auburn, and LSU in 2010.
