Hard to focus on coaching when your house is in ashes.
Too much talent to have lost what he as the past few years, especially to 2/3 of your biggest rivals considering they've had lackluster teams as well.

We are wait and see right now. A bunch of games against weak opponents make it tough to evaluate him.

Will be saying the same thing this time next week.

Gus has never had a loss nearly as embarassing as Troy, so I guess we're happier than LSU fans.

when this Auburn group dominates the last 2, goes 14-1 Ship! and continues to look like they have recently I'd feel pretty solid about the future.

Totally understand the frustration if Auburn goes 9-3 and loses to UGA and Bama to close the year. But he wouldn't get fired for that would he?

Gus has two things going for him now.

1- The SEC is down namely LSU and AM.

2-Kevin Steele looks to be the real deal and has us playing D that will keep you in ball games when the Offense is not perfect.

Losing those 2 aren't dealbreakers this year, but I'm looking at the history vs. LSU and UGA, especially the last 2 seasons. At some point they have to quit kicking the can. AU has never had a problem with new blood coming in and using the talent that is left behind.

NO I still contend we will lose the normal UGA/Bama and 1-2 more and end up n a New Year's bowl in some stank arse florida city against wisconsin or northwestern

They are mostly this week, if they lose sat he'll be top 10 on the hot seat list.

I kinda hope they keep him.

Yea I agree with that.

Gus can't lose this weekend. That might be my only concern this weekend if I was Auburn. LSU has nothing to lose and Auburn knows it's a big game they are expected to win in a place they never win in.

I was all on the stability train last year, but looking at what Dye, Bowden, Tuberville, Chizik, and Gus have done in their first two seasons, maybe we aren't built for stability.

with his record of flaking out under pressure we better get beyond LSU and A&M before we even worry about those last 2 games. all 4 are very lose-able games for gus.

No, that link..it...it was... well, it was 1000% LSU.

I could feel my IQ level dropping every second I listened to that so called "music".

That shite summed up why O is a perfect fit for them.

Canada/Aranda are back to being the best combo in the nation. Troy just has a really really good football team. They might probably may win their Conf..

Nobody invites the boys from Pike County into their stadium expecting to get a win.
