Depends on how they finish it.

nobody considers that 03 title a split anymore unless they root for USC, or want to talk down the BCS.

The NCAA disagrees:

Garrison, bump this after the game. If Auburn brings home the crystal, it will be an interesting discussion.

Man, I needed a reminder why I hate Auburn fans almost as much as Alabama. Not even close to as successful as Alabama, yet talk noise as much as them.

Hill did do y'all dirty! And LSU could of easily put up 40 something in the first half this proves the point that some teams are set up to beat certain schemes and not so much others. Look at the A&M game, LSU is the only team to totally dominate em 2 years n a row. At the moment we are more set up to beat spread teams. But are young so the yardage was more than usual. Next year should be a diff story! Our talent next year top to bottom will look much better to beat any team. The 2 years after that national title in at least one of them. Mayb both, this secondary should be better than 2011 with a great LBing core and solid Dline. Offense will be clicking on all cylinders by then too. Future looks good!

Who cares? I hope they beat the Noles.

We'll take them out at their place, next year.

No way. This years team is 5 min away from having 4 losses. Won't even go there on Cam... not a great team, just a one POS wrecking crew along with Fairley. Still rooting for Aubie in the Championship though.

Lets see, LSUs run hasn't ended, actually getting better as we speak, come check out the recruiting class Jan 3rd. This is his first year. Defenses will catch up to this O. Y'all have another 2 or 3 years of success to even be considered on LSUs level that's if LSU falls comely off the map which isn't happening check above recruiting class. There you go

Well I don't think so when you look at two losing seasons in that span for Auburn. LSUs worst was a 8 win season.

None to AU though

AU is fortunate to be there, enjoy it and stop worrying about LSU

If AU played LSU today they would run for 400. LSU might still win but the offense LSU faced is nothing like the offense we are running now.

Really what is different? Is it new players or different plays?

2007 12-2, lost to #17 Kentucky and 4 loss Arkansas after 3OT in both games, but beat #9 Virginia Tech, #12 South Carolina, #9 Florida, #18 Auburn, #17 Alabama, #14 Tennessee, and #1 Ohio State.

Ugh, not this again...
Kentucky, South Carolina, and Alabama finished the season unranked. Auburn and Tennessee finished the season with 4 losses. Virginia Tech and Florida finished the season with 3 losses. Ohio State was the only Big 10 team that finished the season with fewer than 4 losses. Do you get the picture? The only "team", if anyone, that LSU beat was an Ohio State team that feasted on a weak Big 10.

I do agree that LSU's BCS title run is certainly better than Auburn's.

I have literally forgotten what it was like to lose to Auburn. Your making fun of us with 2 losses when you have that UGA game on your resume this year? I'm not even counting a fricking field goal return, hell I didn't have a seconds worry this year during the Auburn game. Oh yeah and we will be better the next 2 years and counting. You guys are acting like your Bama or something.

'm not promoting shite..I readily acknowledge the BCS in its infancy had some hella flaws. However, I believe people should follow rules and the guidelines that have been set and agreed upon. Fact is that when the BCS started it was agreed that the BCS title game would declare the national champ. LSU won it, USC didn't.

The facts are that the BCS formula has changed and that voters have used different logic to rank teams during different years. The BCS hasn't been a sound, consistent system.
