I got you all wrong then, because this is the dumbest shite I've ever heard. If you can't see the kids raw talent as an 18 year old...doing huge things in huge games...then I don't know what to tell you.

I never said hes not talented... I just think Bama's damn good running game makes the WR's and passing game way more easier.

FWIW, I'd say hes the 2nd best WR in the SEC after Colbi Hamilton.

Not trolling or anything, but I wonder how good Cooper would be if he was in an offense that didn't have as good of a running game that Bama does.

That really makes no sense whatsoever. Wel, that's not entirely true. I can see your train of thought, but your logic is flawed. If Alabama was more of a pass happy system, Cooper would receive more targets, more receivers would be running routes, and he would probably average more yards per game.

Being in a run-heavy offense, Cooper has less targets but more yards after catch.

Regardless of the offense, he makes the most of his catches. He would be a great receiver in any offense.

Statistically only these are ahead of Amari.

Hamilton
Hunter
Evans
that Vandy WR (went blank on his name)
Moncrief

Amari has more yards than Cord if im not mistaking.

If Amari hits 106 yards in the BCSCG...he will have 1,000.

So 54 more yards and 1 more TD= way better?

There is no clear cut best receiver this year. No Julio Joneses, AJ Greens, Alshon Jefferys in the SEC right now. He's in a group of very solid guys at the top but you can't really say one is the best. Unless you're a Bama fan in which case you have the best player at every position

But the answer to your question is no.

I don't know, but he's the best receiver we've had since Julio, for sure.

Also, Amari didn't start the season, he had a hurt ankle and didn't hardly play in the LSU game.

DeAndrew White's injury was crucial in Amari's progression.

ETA: To Note:

AJ Green had 963 yards and 8 TD his freshman year
Julio Jones had 924 yards and 4 TD his freshman year

I was joking about wearing Moncrief pajamas, but yes Moncrief is better and so is Hamilton.

Moncrief is really good. I think he and Cooper will battle for the "Best WR in the SEC" title for years to come. Those two are the new version of AJ Green vs Julio.

Let us not forget about A&M's freshman Mike Evans who is 6'5" that had 75 catches for 1022...in one less game than Cooper. BTW, Evans has only played a couple years of football since he was a basketball player most of his life...he's only gonna get better!

Would get my vote. OJ Howard scares me for next year as well. I saw some very good footage on him at 7 on 7 camp.

for the record he got my vote before the SECCG...

He's a freshman benefitting from a great run game. Let's see how he does next year.

I must be a complete homer, because there is no doubt in my mind that he is the best.

ETA - Moncrief, Patterson, and Swope would also get my consideration, though.

You're one dumb bitch, do you not realize Alabama will always be able to run the ball. If he played for LSU.......he'd be the best though...rite!!??!
