Just pointing out that you have no control over who is going to be good on your schedule before it is set.

Actually your AD has total control. By all means keep that Tenn game ever year because its special. It helped Bama be undefeat ... Oh wait

Without a doubt. This is no slight to aTm. Did what we couldn't last week.

No, the reason we looked bad (though still almost won) is that we had two straight games against two great opponents, and they play totally OPPOSITE styles of football.

One week we're preparing for LSU's grind-it-out style of play, expecting lots of runs, etc., and the next week we're playing a hurry up offense with a mobile quarterback.

On a neutral field with time to prepare, I think Bama would beat A&M 8 or 9 out of 10 times, but in the middle of the season (and particularly after playing a physical team like LSU), it's incredibly difficult to change how your defense - and as a result, your offense - are going to play.

You're absolutely right.

Our shitty start of a season had a lot to do with our UF loss.

Their shitty schedule had a lot to do with that defense getting so blatantly tired late in games. Alabama that is.

They're ranked 17th on SOS according to Sagarin and 16 on the Colley Matrix.

Sour grapes is one thing but your comment is flat out wrong. By the way, LSU is 19th on both.

It's ok to be a homer, but don't let your jealousy over another teams success make you look stupid and real LSU fans look bad.
