As an Auburn fan I have witnesses some mind numbing moronic beliefs about why we should play the back up QB which exhibit a lack of understanding of the game so great it is hard to believe said fans watch the game. This includes the pointless discussion about benching NM for JJ right now. You sir, you take the cake. Congrats.

I wonder if all teams have fans like this.

If it gets to the point we cannot win the division I might think about playing Coker or another QB some, but until that time Sims gives us the best chance to win.

Aggies everywhere agree. This would be for the best.

What I said after our second game is that Sims is better than Coker right now, but we would be better off letting Coker start and go through his learning curve in the first half of the season. If Coker had been starting all along I think right now we would have a very solid QB who could throw the ball downfield. Sims hit his ceiling against Florida and he can't do much more with his limited arm talent.

Our offense is so easy to stop right now. Double team Cooper and load the box. That's all you have to do because Sims can't beat you with his arm.

Just me, but I'd leave that up to the Coach.

Before you call anybody stupid, learn how to spell "either".

We have some of the worst fans. If he wins the next three with big numbers they'll pretend this all never happened.

What has Coker done to make you believe this?

Dude has literally failed to take a commanding role and start at every university but to some of our fans he is the solution to everything.

Forget the fact he has never proven how good he is suppose to be in a scrimmage or game.

The most popular man on the team is usually the backup qb if things are going south.

Some on TexAgs and elsewhere have been apoplectic this week calling for Kyle Allen over Kenny Hill

I just don't get why so many Bama fans believe this. Coker has been given every opportunity to win the job and he can't do it. While Coker may have a good arm, just looking the part won't get it done in the SEC.Coker has to be a massive disappointment to some of you Bama fans. pre season ,I thought Bama finally had a qb that could light teams up.

Throw an accurate forward pass further than 15 yards.

Alabama problems

1. Can't run for more than 3 yards

2. Not enough Coker.

3. Too much Toker.

to the op, sims plays all year, or until he gets injured. coker gets zero meaningful snaps the remainder of the season. and yes next year bama will be right where we are right now, breaking in an inexperienced qb, most likely coker. then guess what, the following year we get to do it all over again, with a brand new inexperienced qb.

And this is why we should make the switch right now it's enough talent returning next year to be a great team (Hopefully landon returns), and especially with a veteran QB leading the way this team could go all the way...Saban is just too loyal to the vets, if it wasn't for Vinnie Sunsari getting hurt Landon Collins would have never seen the field until this season, he would just now be getting his feet wet...the ONLY way Saban pulls Sims is a injury or a terrible performance in a lose by Sims, but as long as he wins by 1pt and plays terrible he's going to start, I would rather lose now and get it over with and prepare for the future, than to win the next 3 games then lose the last 2, then next year comes and were screwed again with breaking in a new QB when we could have a veteran QB starting next year with a elite cast surrounding him...sometimes you have to take a step back to take two steps forward.

you actually make some valid points. enough with the "but they are still in it" arguments.. Bama aint gonna win out..anybody with half a brain of football wisdom can see that. Saban is too stubborn to change.. he's the type that cant admit he's wrong. he will keep doing the same shite over and over and over. And when it continues to fail he will blame it on the players. watch and see

I don't believe we can win a National Championship with Sims,so why not give Coker the most experience as possible even if it's just to have a veteran QB for next year...if Sims plays the entire season we will have to go through the same thing next year breaking in a new QB...I believe the best thing for the future of Alabama football is for Bama to lose again this week then Saban will pull Sims...get Coker ready now, we could win the same amount of games with him in at QB right now plus have a seasoned QB for next year.

This thread really should be moved to the Bama Board ASAP by SEC Rant Admin. If there has ever been a thread that needed moving to its respective team board more than this one, I haven't seen it.

I'm going to vigorously RA for move to the Bama Board and I encourage other Bama fans to do the same. I know some people who know some people that can dispose of the evidence of this egregious assault on reason by my fellow "Bama" fan (note: I'm leaning toward this being a clever Anti-bammer alter purposefully using the worst reasoning imaginable to start a player and actively hoping to lose games so that said player will replace the current starter in order to further the negative stereotypes and ridicule.)

I have contacted one of our snipers and he has one in the chamber and will await for one of his superiors to give the kill order by coaxing it in his direction.

I think Coach Saban and his staff might have better insight into who should be playing QB at Alabama than many message board coaches.
