The fans are not. Just perusing the internet, the fans don't think LSU can or will give Alabama a close game. I can't help wonder if this mentality has bled over into the team's mindset. I think the stress levels for everyone affiliated with Alabama will go through the roof if this is a tight ball game.

That's not a good place to be going into a game like this.

LSU is expecting and preparing for a 4 quarter battle. If Bama is able to blow the doors off LSU, good for them, but if not

Absolutely not. The players for both teams are sitting around reading and posting on message boards all week.

So by the same token, I guess the LSU team is more concerned with excuses and conspiracies since that’s all your fans seem to be worried about?

Not just this week, but all year. Try as he might, Saban can't insulate the players from the outside world, and the constant barrage of "unbeatable...best ever...LSU can't keep it close..." that is being tossed around everywhere.

Tua seems unflappable, but there's 30+ other guys, many of which are new starters, that haven't been tested yet and are likely believing their own hype. If this turns in to a war, doubt may start creeping in from the guys that believed everyone saying LSU couldn't play with them.

I'm relaxed because I am happy we will finally see a good game. TBH, season has been a little boring after the first half of each game.

Don't sweat it. Saban is a master at getting his teams ready to play.

No.

From past history, it’s easy to see that Saban and his staff have no clue how to prepare a team for a big game against a tough and determined opponent in a hostile environment. Not to mention, there are no kids on the team who have been in this kind of situation as football players. They’ll be shellshocked at the coin toss.

Death Valley at night? Shivers.

Based on history, the odds are overwhelming that Alabama will lose one in the regular season. Looking at the remaining games on the schedule, where do you think this loss will happen?

I'll give him that his teams are always more talented than the opposition.

Always ready, though? How can they be always ready and lose to 4 loss Auburn last year? How about the loss at SC in 2010? The Ole Miss losses? AU in '13 and the couple losses to Sumlin and the Aggies? All teams they were superior to on paper.

He loses to less talented teams every year except one. They are not always ready.

If history is our indicator, its Auburn.

They will be ready. THis is one game Saban LOVES to win. Period. He will have them up and the fact LSU is highly ranked will motivate them.

I don't think either team will come out flat.

Count me among Bama fans who expect a war.

Saturation bombing followed by a blitzkrieg through Belgium. Followed by two quarters of brutal occupation under General Hurts and then withdrawal back to T Town with another W.

It will be no different this Saturday than any other this year LSU does not have the manpower to play with Bama. It's pretty simple to see. I get it. LSU fans (not all) are so desperate to beat Bama and BE Bama that they have convinced themselves that this will be a game. That has bled over to some Bama fans now having doubt. Don't. Not a shread of it. Bama wins big. Tua doesn't see the 4th qtr. Reality.

Yea, you know Alabama, virgin on the games biggest stages.

Hopefully we can bring some old veterans in to let everyone know what it's like to play in a big game.

Of course it’s hard to go undefeated...LSU hasn’t done it in 60 years.

This particular Bama team has had nothing to do with past history. Your post seems to be blaming this team for past failures (if you could call a one loss team a failure). If a team could go undefeated, I believe this team has the personnel to do it.
