This is not the normal Saban coached team. Something is not right. Might be chemistry issues with Saban/Kiffin might be locker room problems. Something is just not right.

What say the rant? (Honest opinions only, please.)

I say borderline, but probably more like 11 or 12.

They have top ten talent, but currently have not played like it.

Most other years, I'd say no, but this year it looks like everyone is just going to beat up each other and there will be a lot of 2 loss teams in the top 10.

My first instinct is to say no; then I watch Notre Dame and Michigan State as Top 8 teams, and I can't say no.

They'll look like one on the 18th.

The offense just looks disorganized. On one play yesterday, Sims kept waiting for Kiffen to signal in a play. From my primitive perspective, fundamental things like consistently being ready to run a play on time has to do with coaching.

Is there a firelanekiffen.com site available, or can we recycle the Tenn one?

Top 10, had to talk a Bama fan off the ledge today. Really strange, said felt like last night was a loss.

No, a top 5 team.

Qe lost in the road in a last second manner.

Auburn got blown out.

Mich. St. Got blown out and was leading Purdue by 7 late.

Notre Dame is a joke.

I can't name 10 others that should definitely be ahead of them.

Bama is probably the most talented team in the country. But this year's team is proof that talent alone doesn't necessarily make a great team.

Maybe not, but who knows what will happen? Alabama -14 versus the Aggies is a joke, because who knows which team will show up. Our defense is pretty good with lapses in the secondary. The offensive line looked like killers against Florida and high school players against Arkansas. This is the most inconsistent Tide team we have seen in awhile, though hardly the worst team we have fielded since 2004.

Excellent rush D and Amari Cooper is a stud. Problem is, it's possible to eliminate him. They're mediocre every where else. 10-20 range IMO.

Easily in the top 10. We all know ND, Baylor, and Oregon are frauds. I'd take Bama in any of those games. However, I think Aggie beats them

Alabama should be in the top 10 because of the defense. The front 7 is great.

gumps are always dangerous, never under estimate them...

rankings don't impress me until after the season...all rankings do now is create a lot of fodder for boards like this one...
We were way over ranked, now we are where we belong, as the season goes along, everyone will find their place in the rankings...

I agree that the front 7 is disgusting. Terrifying really. The offense is just such a mess right now. DBs and pass rush are average, which has resulted in strikingly few created turnovers. Still plenty of season left to regroup though.
