The greatest team of all time will have won a conference and national title. Thus it is not 2020 Alabama - feel free to revisit later

Who beats them and how?

The defense isn’t good enough for that, I don’t think.

I agree. They are not impressive on defense. In fact, the linebacker play is embarrassing but I think they can outscore almost anyone. That said, if they have a bad day on offense against any worthy opponent, look out.

Eh, best offense of this era would be closer to the truth.

Not until all games are won. We’ll have a chance to talk but the talk is way too early.

Alabama better hope not.

The evidence I have seen is that seasons with this designation can cause their coach to face termination the following year.

Ordinarily, I'd say "Fair point - I'll allow it."

In this case, Saban actually has a positive and documented history of success following national championship seasons.

I don’t know why everyone is simply brushing this off with “no.”

The Alabama defense had weaknesses early, but they’ve been pretty dominant the 2nd half of the year.

The offense has zero weaknesses. Mac Jones might be more Greg McElroy than Tua, but even that’s just a stupid comment based on Mac being a boring, white insurance salesman-looking QB.

Alabama hasn’t been really been tested yet. It’ll be interesting to discuss them after they play Florida, Clemson, etc.
