Team that finished no.5 in the country? A team that had 17 players in the two-deep make an NFL roster(Actually make an active roster for at least 1 full season)? Yes, I am trying to be serious.

There is no built in advantage in recruiting for football. Football is a #s game. You need to build a strong 85 man roster. The state of TX has 12 DI football teams (5 in Power 5 conferences). UF is the only school that has a similar situation. The TX kids didn't grow up wanting to play in the SEC. Most of the TX kids that go to LSU are actually originally from LA.
Give A&M a few more years to infiltrate LA. Those kids could supplement the TX kids.

A&M has to be expanding their footprint within Texas, right? Good school, passionate fans, and they've increased their national exposure.
If TAMU could lock down the Houston area alone, they'd be set.

A&M would be pretty set on offense. We need kids from SEC country to build better defenses. We've started going into LA, MS, and TN to yield depth on defense.

Speedy Noil and Chriss were 2 Elite players that LSU wanted. If you weren't such a jackass and did some research, you would know that A&M has several LA players who might start this year or play significant minutes.
Speedy Noil, Donovan Wilson, Noel Ellis, Shaan Washington, Kendal Bussey, Claude George, Dwain Thomas, and possibly DeShawnn Capers-Smith will all see significant time this year in the 2-deep roster.
