I think this is the only reason the game will be close.
This is Aburn's strongest Offensive line in along time vs The weakest D-line I've seen from Bama in quite some time. Zero penatration.
You have to stop Newton before he gets started or he is good for five yds every time.
Bama's Oline has given up a shitload of sacks and Fairley is going to abuse McElroy.
Bama's only hope is to Start McCarron and try to outscore Auburn which they are capable of doing because they have great skill people and Auburns back seven are mediocre.

I'm holding my prediction until I see the LSU/Bama game.

Hard to disagree with any of your analysis. McCarron gives Alabama a much better shot to beat Auburn than McElroy does. Auburn is actually pretty good at stopping the run and completely stifled both Richardson and Ingram last year. Alabama needs a QB back there that can take advantage of Auburn's medicore secondary. McElroy is not that guy. McCarron is. Start McCarron.

So, Auburn can struggle to beat State and Kentucky on the road, but would blow Alabama out if it wasn't in Tuscaloosa?

Vandy fans are as bad at analysis as their team is at football.

Teams are different game to game. If you don't think they bring their best vs Bama after a bye week then you are delusional.

And if you don't think Alabama will bring its best all year, after nine days off, you're delusional.

With McElroy your best won't be enough to overcome your defensive short commings. I'm pretty sure the skill players at Bama prefer McCarron.

So you disagree about your defensive line. When I watched the LSU vs UT game the hit Simms virtually every play. Alabama pass rush was pretty much non exsistant against them.
Your secondary is playing above their heads right now, but the defensive line is not getting it done. It's really the reason you guys lost to Scar. Garcia had all day.

We see how much good LSU's pass rush did in stopping a running QB.

OK for one thing if we did have an effective DL that got penetration, Newton would just dance around them. The key is containing him in a pocket which we are more than equipped to do.
Our secondary is more than adequate enough to handle what little of a passing game Auburn has. Cam isn't as effective throwing the ball as Garcia and AU certainly doesn't have an Alshon Jeffery.

Terrible breakdown, but I can't say I'm surprised.

Alabama can't stop an electric QB. Ask Kodi Burns..

Nothing gets by you does it?
It was a play on Cam's preference in electronics, but I know how you are easily confused so I wouldn't expect much more from you.
