I watched Iowa today and was not impressed. Their O line was ok, but their skill people wouldn't start for Vandy.
Their D was ok, but Nebraska's QB was Treon like, and kept throwing it right to them. So it was really difficult to determine exactly how good their D really was.

In all seriousness, would Iowa have 50 yards of total offense against Alabama?

That's what I'm saying. They've played no body and UT has had a tough schedule.

I feel like iowa going 12-0 and tennessee going 7-4 support the idea that these bowls don't matter.

It supports the idea that some teams play schedules worth a shite and others don't. There are 7 or 8 other SEC teams besides UT that would also be undefeated with Iowa's schedule.

Got to love the mixed signals the CFP committee keeps sending. They keep talking about how strength of schedule matters and teams need to play real schedules outside of conference, and then they have Iowa in their top 4.

luckily enough the Big 10 hasn't joined the rest of college football with their offenses.

Yeah, you think Tennessee has a better offense? You guys have a common opponent.

Tennessee beat 1-10 North Texas 24-0. Iowa beat them 62-16

Tennessee would be 12-0 with Iowa's schedule

Tennessee would lose to Wisconsin, Pitt, and Northwestern and at best have a 50/50 shot against Nebraska and Indiana

Lolololol, at you comparing the 2 games. You fricking idiot

And since we're playing the transitive property game, we'd blow LSU out based on our common opponents.

But a game from a different season matters? Okay

Tennessee is not good. Iowa is playing in their CCG for a spot in the Playoffs. Get over it.

ETA:

And scoring 24 on North Texasis embarrassing.

The only other team to score less than 30 on them was Texas-San Antonio

Yeah, except the '92 team was mobile, agile and hostile.

No........frick no. Yes their schedule is shite but there's no way you win again this year. Stop kidding yourself. Your fricking delusional. You would easily lose to Wisoncsin and Northwestern. Pitt is a tossup. Y'all sleep they're not getting blown out in the B1G Championship game. It will be close gaurenteed.

bullshite. But for giggles, Iowa would lose to Bama, UF, Oklahoma, and UGA.

Edit: and Arkansas.

Hell, Bowling Green would probably give them a good game.

but... but... LSU fans told us after the Music City and Peach Bowls that non BCS/Playoff bowls don't mean shite though.

What are you talking about? This is getting insane with you people. If you so angry about LSU fans disagreeing with you, then stay off the LSU site and go back to Aggie-land. This is becoming a mental condition for you.
