I think the SEC will either look east or north in its nest expansion..Either the SEC and BIG will both take Virginia and NC teams and cripple the ACC, or if the BIG takes GT to get a footprint in the south the SEC might take Cincy as a reply and a FU to the BIG..If OU wants to move, they will have to look west to the Pac 12 who would probably happily take them and okState.

Cinci? B1G would laugh their arse off if the SEC was stupid enough to take Cinci. B12 doesnt even want Cinci.

B1G taking GT would be great for SEC. It would destabilize ACC just enough for SEC to get UNC and 1 from VA.

How about no more teams in the SEC? Crazy idea, I know. Before long (if we keep expanding), the two divisions will be conferences in their own right.

Screw OU...They had their chance before just like FSU did and they are too skeered to play with the big boys.

Agreed. I feel that without having 9 or 10 conference games we are basically half way there anyway. Once the 8 team college football playoff gets here, and the SEC Champ receives and auto-bid, I almost feel like it is ridiculously unnecessary not to have 9 or 10 conference games.

Or how about the SEC doesnt get left behind the PAC and the B1G? Crazy idea i know. Before long, we will have a great number of television markets which only means more money for the conference and schools

Oklahoma won't come without OSU, and the SEC would not want that....

The SEC will expand to 16 by adding either Va/Va Tech and NC State in the future.

You're right. If we expand anymore there will be 8 teams in each division. It wasn't so long ago there was a conference known as the Big Eight that had, you guessed it, eight teams. And I think the old Southwest Conference had nine teams. All this expansion is going to ruin college football. Before it's over, we'll lose Bama/Tennessee just like we've already lost OU/Nebraska, Texas/TAMU, West Virginia/Pitt and other personal grudge matches. I already don't like the fact that Bama won't play Florida or Georgia as often as they used to which wasn't real often to begin with. The SEC never should have expanded beyond 12 teams.

Jump to 9 conference games and you won't have this problem.

There are 4 teams I'd like to see added to the SEC. Add OU and Texas to the West, add FSU and VT to the east.

Rotating pods would work even better, IMO.

Okie was asked to join and said no, that they would stay in the Big12 along with Texas.
Now it's too late.
