I guess if we're counting current head coaches records LSU doesn't have a 32 sat. night home game win streak then

Les MIles has NEVER lost a Saturday night home game to my knowledge.

I just gave a fact to back up my assertion. Unless you think Larry Coker > Les Miles and Larry Coker > Nick Saban.

Not it isn't. Don't you see that because of what Coker did at Miami this automatically means that any success a coach has in his first 4 years is meaningless. Makes perfect sense, duh!!

Oh, and Coker is not the only coach in college football history to have an awesome record and a national title in his first few years only to suck later on. There have been literally hundreds of thousands of cases where this happened and opposing fans remind us of all these cases every day.

Get the program ksaye, sheesh!

Spin this however you want. I do actually think Miles is a better coach than Coker (I know, way to go out on a limb) but just using record would suggest Coker is better. Hence why I said, you can't just see a record and go well Coach A is better than Coach B. The situation the coach in, the way the team plays, ect. This isn't an exact science and to throw up one stat as the end all is missing the point.

Just stop Duke.

It's obvious that Miles is a better coach than Saban. They should throttle UF with his superior coaching skills.

Yes, much better if I just throw up what one coach did at another school as the end all instead. At this point, I prob would give the nod to Saban over Miles, but I think its alot closer than the vast majority of fan bases think. If you're just trying to say Saban > Miles, fair enough, I think I have you confused with another OM fan who doesn't even consider Miles a "good" coach and thats mainly what I was laughing at.

Different coach. That one had a habit of losing games he wasn't supposed to lose.

You forgot a stat. The last time UF was #1 in Tiger Stadium they lost.

Read the OP.
It limits the time frame to the last 9 years.

2000
UNR LSU - 45
#13 Miss St - 38 (OT)

2001
UNR LSU - 41
#24 Arkansas - 38

2003
#10 LSU - 17
#7 UGA - 10

the last six years doesnt really make a lot of sense to use, since LSU has nearly always been the higher ranked team..

nah. the OP said LSU has lost the previous times they were the underdog. We have beaten higher ranked teams.

LSU was ranked No. 11 in 2003 when we beat UGA (No. 7) at home in Tiger Stadium. However, that was a day game.

Funny. I had that happen to me in 2001 against LSU in Tuscaloosa. I was flipping out because Rohan Davey and Josh Reed were playing catch all afternoon.
