If Bama isn't gifted wrapped a NC in 2011 (let's be honest nobody thought LSU would win), and LSU plays Okie State like they should have, Les and Nick have the same amount of titles since Saban took over at Bama. Sure Gumps will say 4-0 ect ect, but Steele actually puts pressure on the QB late in the game (see MSU game) and forces the QB to make a play unlike Chavis who trots out 3 down linemen. If that were the case in the past LSU would be 4-1 against the tide since 2010 and 5-3 vs Nick since 2007. Will be an interesting game. 27-24 either way.

Maybe I'm mistaken on the Vegas line...but to say "Everyone thought Bama would win" over LSU is nuts. LSU had just finished probably the most impressive regular season in the modern era...certainly among the very toughest schedules for an undefeated team.

In what world were we the favorite? Our team looked completely different and went to shite as soon as Jordan Jefferson came back and started splitting time with Lee, there wasn't a doubt in my mind that we were going to get smashed in that game and I'm sure Vegas agreed

Actually Jordan Jefferson was the reason LSU won the 1st game and most of your fans in here lauded his performance. Then again until that butt kicking went down most of yall here thought you would win by 14 with our big fat linebackers.

Gundy is a moron. Their run defense allowed over 7 yards per carry in 2011. LSU wouldn't have had to throw a single pass to win by 40.
