I agree with lsusteve should have watched it with her. My dads only 65 but I watch every game with him even though tickets. Come available every now and then. Lots of whiners in this thread though.

I saw many posts by LSU fans at the end of the BCSCG game thread on this site saying, quoting Barrett Jones, that order had indeed been restored. So hey, if it makes you feel better to spout off about this being "garbage", fine. But you and I and everyone else here know that a big part of your fan base agrees with this.

Just give them a year or two and they will be back on probation and Saban will be gone. The nursing home will need a couple of police officers to handle the chaos since things will be out of order. They'll hire Joey Jones for a couple of years and then Jay Barker, before finally landing another savior to restore order and the cycle will continue. Enjoy - you crazy mother#$%#$

I think it is an awesome story. 
I went to see my 86 year old uncle the other day. He knew I went to NOLA and the first thing he mentioned was the game. We talked about it for a while. My aunt doesn't watch football, so he doesn't have anyone to talk about it with. It was a very special moment. I still remember watching LSU games with my grandfather. I miss him every time football season comes around because those are very special moments that you don't really appreciate as much until they are no longer with you.

Well my Grandfather died at 95 and was a batshit crazy LSU fan. The man hated the shite out of Bama, a sentiment I do not share since the games have been pretty even in my lifetime. Since I knew old people who love LSU does that mean "we live it" (insert whatever gay catch phrase is being used these days)?

You are having a good run right now. LSU had and will have a better run in the near future. Florida was the class of the SEC under 2 coaches recently. Auburn just had a national title with the best player to suit up in this conference in 25 years. The "order restored" comment was laughable unless you are going back to the 70's. Alabama is one of many SEC teams recently to have a good stretch but to implicate somehow that your place at some delusional mountaintop is back and everybody can breathe easier is why so many people hate that aspect of the Bama fan base.
