We played some of the shittiest football against you guys, but we played some great games too. This started out as a typical give the game to Auburn herp derp, but then we got it going. Wild game.

1995

This was a great rivalry, and we gave it up for the sake of the conference. Who else has given up their oldest rival?

Agree. I would switch UGA and Florida in a heartbeat.

In our bowl ban years, we beat Auburn.
In their bowl ban years, they beat us.

Damn it sucks thinking of all the east games I'd like to play.

If in a scenario where we switched to the east and became Bama's permanent cross-divisional, I'd only be upset about losing LSU really.

Not AU/UF related, but AU/LSU has evolved into a super great series

Think losing the LSU game is the only negative for Auburn moving East would be the same situation we now have with Florida

AU vs UF 2002

Really a fun game. UF lead 23-7, AU came back and was going to win with a FG, again, and then UF blocked it at the end of regulation and won in overtime.

Neither team was very good in 2002, so a lot of people forget about it, but it was another great game in the series.

2002 was one of my favorite games I have attended in the Swamp.
