I don't care who wins the Heisman but it sure is fun watching L5U fans squirm.

Fournette hasn't proven anything this year other than he's been run to death by his coaches against awful defenses to cover up LSU's shitey qb play.

interesting considering henry has more carries than LF7 does

i thought saban cared about player safety

All meanwhile, Ingram had his best games against top opponents that year, on national TV.

#10 Virginia Tech- 150 rushing yards

@ #20 Mississippi- 172 rushing yards

vs South Carolina- 246 rushing yards when Alabama's offense was completely flat throughout the mid-season.

vs #17 LSU- 144 rushing yards

vs #1 Florida- 113 rushing yards against a defense that was highly ranked.

After that game, one of my Auburn friends changed his facebook picture to one of Ingram getting stuffed in that game with a caption about how it was great to be an Auburn Tiger because they had killed Ingram's Heisman chances. So, there's at least something sadder than this thread, so don't feel too bad.

but ingy kept us in it.

1. Alabama WON the game he struggled in

2. He followed that game up with a great performance against #1 undefeated Florida in the SEC Championship in arguably the biggest game of the year that year.

So playing a good game against a great defense makes it OK to lay an egg against 3 shitty teams? I'm just trying to understand your reasoning. Seems like a double standard to me. The Heisman is over rated to me. More political than about ability.

Of course the Heisman is a political award, it's kind of a joke, always has been and always will be.

The point is, voters will give a pass for a bad performance in a win way more quickly than they will give a pass for a bad performance in a loss.

It's not fair, but that's reality. There is a heavy bias towards giving it to a player on a winning team, not necessarily the most deserving player.

LSU fans need to be worried about the team and not whining about an individual award. If this team continues to lose, LF7 will be an after thought for this season. If they win out he will be in the discussion. Either way he will come back next year as a front runner.

Not sure what that has to do with the most outstanding college player, but ok.

There was a 4 week period at the end of the season where Gerhart was averaging almost 4 TDs a game

History doesn't care, history will only remember who won the trophy.

If Henry wins the Heisman it will just continue the long list of Heisman winners who bombed in the NFL.
