And in no time put your football team back to a respected program. He's a great recruiter. Stubborn as all hell but you know he'll run a clean program and won't embarrass you as a fan. At least off the field.

In all seriousness, Les should be the only call they make. He's got the reputation to both hold the ship together and endure the bad times that are coming. Even if he's just there to steer them through the 4-5 years of probation and the aftermath, a Les hire would guarantee whomever follows him won't walk into a total disaster.

You never know. I think he would love the challenge. He would definitely like to stay in the sec that's for sure. Granted if he would take the job he would stop being paid by LSU but at this point I don't think he cares much about that. He's around lsu campus all the time- you can tell he misses being a coach
