Freeze will be gone in less than 5 years if successful.
Ole Miss is a stepping stone for a career, not a home.

I think Freeze really likes it at OM, and they can pay him a top 15 salary if he deserves it. I think he stays as long as they will keep him. Why is this hard to believe?

Our defense has been better the last two years than at any other point during Miles' tenure.

Last year, yeah I'll give you that. This year just hasn't been overly impressive IMO. Maybe that's because of the huge drop off from last year or maybe I haven't watched enough of y'alls games.

This is the biggest WTF I've read on here in a while. Our defense is fanfrickingtastic and in the argument (with UF and Bama) as best in the whole damn country. WTF are you talking about?

If a coach can take a perennial doormat residing in the toughest division in football to a level of respectability, programs where winning is easy will call.

Not sure why that's hard to understand.

Yeah they'll call, and he won't be going anywhere.

If he can average between 7-9 wins a year, then all the Oxfordians will fap to him just like we fap to Dan in Starkville. Why leave when you can be rich as fugg at ape pressure job?

ETA: Sorry OBReb, didn't mean to reply to you.

Well that'd make him a true original.

I guess that's why it's hard to believe--understanding your expectation is not the issue. But please, go on pretending coaches turn down better gigs for better money on an annual basis.

This isn't a typical situation, so you don't know what you're talking about.

It happens every year in coaching but it's not just limited to the profession. Things are different for every person. Some people are more comfortable in a certain place, some people just like their job, others have family that want to stay, some like no pressure and no expectations. Now I wouldn't understand some dumb frick who's grip on reality in football is limited to NCAA '13 and him and his buddies having circle jerk to Johnny Football.

Nope. He's from 30 mins outside of Oxford and has said multiple times that Ole Miss is his dream job and he wants to retire here.

Yep. He is the first coach as far as I can remember that says that and you can actually tell he means it. The guy has been given pretty much everything he has wanted so far. He has an administration that is backing him....unlike previous admin. Being close to home and being at the same school he grew up going to football games at....I don't see how saying "this is my dream job" is coach speak.

I wasn't big on this hire. I admit it. But in the past year now, Freeze has shown me that he really does care about this university and wants it to get to a competitive level.

Riveting analysis...no really.

And to sustain the force of calling someone a "dumb frick," be sure to check your grammar in the very same sentence.

Just helpful tips from your resident dumb frick.

I was the same way. He's proving me wrong and I love it.
