I know Florida can pay what they want but Mullen and Muschamp make the same. $3mm in Starkville vs $3mm in Gainesville????? Hmmmmm
Plus Florida people don't like Mullen and the Mullens don't like Gainesville. Pressures of coaching at UF vs pressure of coaching in Starkville. I don't see it happening.

Don't worry about it, not going to happen. Let the grind continue.

That would be a cool move, that way the OC could keep his job.

Craig Bohl

Great coach...but I don't see it happening for a couple of reasons. First, I think UF will go for someone that's perceived as a more "flashy" pick...and second, from what I've read of Bohl, he really likes the small town feel of the Midwest/remote West so I don't think he'd come to UF. I read one reason he took the Wyoming job was because it was an FBS school with an "atmosphere" similar to North Dakota State...

Bohl would not be good for UF and UF wouldn't be good for Bohl. Bohl is very much a developmental coach, meaning his bread and butter was recruiting projects and physically developing them to where they are solid upperclassmen starters.

Bohl(and/or his previous strength coach) had the most impressive performance development program in the country that I had ever seen. The problem is that Florida needs to recruit guys that are ready to play from day one

In 2015, Florida's Head Football Coach will be... a heavy drinker if their offense sputters again.

It won't be Bohl though I think he is an impressive coach. At this point he's probably a bit too old for a program like Florida to sign onto. He might, however, make a good two or three year interim HC. The man has a tendency to not panic or lose his S%^t in close games. Could be a calming influence on the Gators. Very, very, unlikely though.

It might be Bobby P, but if it is then the Gators will need to win, and win quickly because after a few seasons that defense will be gone with the wind.

If Muschamp is sleeping with the fishes then I wouldn't be surprised if Jurich goes for either an overachieving HC from a smaller team, or a tried and proven OC.
