In 2008, Tim Tebow had the most 1st place Heisman votes

However, Big 12 voters voted Bradford, McCoy, and Harrell, pettily leaving Tebow off their ballots which sinked him and Bradford won.

Feels similar to a potential situation with Daniels this year

Maybe all three were better players than Tebow and the rest of the country fricked Graham Harrell.

There have been more posts about the Heisman in the last 3 weeks than in the previous 3 years combined.

It already feels like West coast writers are absolutely not going to put Jayden on their ballots. Heck you already have hit pieces out there about him because a lot of them want to pretend he is still the same QB that played in the Pac-12 and the SEC is just a much weaker conference.

With that said, I really think Bo Nix is going to win the Heisman if he wins out. Stats or not, his defense is going to cost him the trophy. Another reason Matt House has to be fired. We have the second best offense we've ever had and may lose 4 games this season.

At least we have multiple legit options. Would much rather that than a Mark Ingram "someone has to win by default" year

I mean at that point the big 12 had 3 exceptionally good offenses.

Tebow should have won 2008 before he won 2007. McFadden or Brennen should have took it home in 07.
In 07 tebow had some meh games. Granted 07 wasn't a great Florida team but he was very average against LSU and especially UGA. In the Auburn loss he was pretty good but had a costly pick.
In 08 he was freakin superman.

Changing the precedent for Tebow to get it over McFadden is just another moment where we can see Arkansas get screwed.

Tebow had 51 total touchdowns in 2007. A SEC record at the time. He deserved the Heisman, as did McFadden. We just didn’t have as good of a defense that year.

In 2008, Tebow had a little dip in numbers because he had more supporting cast with less injuries. He was a true leader and absolutely should have taken the heisman. The Big 12 candidates all looked good because they played in the… Big 12, where no one plays defense. The moment Oklahoma played Florida in the natty, they could only muster 14 points. Tebow was screwed that year.

Jesus did not want him to win another Heisman.
