Harris running is the scariest thing for me honestly. If Les decides to let him run, we will be in trouble. Fournette will get his, but Florida does swarm the ball carrier. So I think we can contain most of the night, but he will have those few runs where he burst out on us. I think Fournette gets 130-150 yards. The key is not letting Harris run on third downs to extend drives. Our pass rush gets over excited sometimes and lets the QB run for an easy 12-15 yards.

Still don't quite trust our offense. Call it post Muschamp stress disorder. The only unit I have confidence in is our D. Reminds me a lot of the Bucs 2002 superbowl defense. Disruptive up front with a lock down secondary -- was a nightmare for opposing QBs. Fortunately for LSU, I think the biggest weakness of our D also parallels that of the Bucs that year: power run.

Not so fast my friend. You won't one up us on theniceness. While our strength on defense is stopping the run in my opinion, we have a major probably at covering tight ends. If you have a tight end with a pulse, I'd bet that he gets in the end zone. Also number 13 for us, Dwayne Thomas is our weakest link in the secondary. Grier will be picking his lips with match ups vs him

Lol it's at tiger stadium this time and we all know what happened to Hargreaves last time he tried to tackle Fournette. Business decisions.

TE's are our strongest overall unit on offense possibly. Really great play from them so far.

Florida is ranked 12th against the run, allowing 3 TDs, 99.2 yards per game and 3.05 yards per rush.

LSU is ranked 13th against the run, allowing 4 TDs, 99.6 yards per game and 3.36 yards per rush.

Mcgee is solid all around. Love me some Jake Mcgee. Very uncharacteristic drop from him last night. Goolsby is undersized, poor at blocking, but athletic. Hopefully we get Cyontai Lewis back from injury. He did a lot of damage in the time he was healthy.

Florida's line is playing better than projected, but still not good enough to sustain a good ground game, or keep good DL off Grier long enough. Considering what our OL coach had to work with he's done a great job, but we still don't have the bodies to be elite in the trenches on O.

We're hoping to get Mills back in our secondary, he's one of our best cover guys.

Who has Florida played with a national name in rushing though? No disrespect or anything but Ole miss, new Mexico state, east Carolina, Missouri and Kentucky aren't running on anyone. Tennessee is okay I guess. But this will be the first rushing test you truly see. It's not just fournette. As pointed out earlier, Harris too plus guice and williams.

It just feels awesome to have a big-time game with UF again.

The 1997 game is still the one that ranks as the best I've ever been a part of. It's like it started on the Thursday on campus and lasted to the wee hours of that Sunday in BTR.

And OMG, did we hate Spurier. That quote (and I don't remember it exactly) about "The faster we put up 21 on these guys, the better I'll feel" pretty much sums up the swag rolling out from The Swamp in all directions...not that he didn't back it up, and how.

UF at the top of the East just feels like the universe is in proper alignment again.

Fla's pass defense, their much improved passing game and speed on kick offs and punt returns should scare the hell out of LSU. LSU's depth, speed and power in the running game over all like wise should scare Fla, neither team has faced anything close to what they're about this coming weekend.

LSU special teams.

Was ANYONE surprised when dude ran one back yesterday?

If we are playing Bama, UF, OM...that could be light's out...for real.

Jalen Hurd is as close as it gets to LF7 that we've faced. He beat us up pretty good, even though the UT Oline is a mediocre unit.

I'm interested in how you guys feel about your LBs? Kelvin Taylor has been getting better every week. Looks like one of the underrated match ups coming into the week.

They are good vs the run.

Vs the pass..... Well, you will succeed. They are a bit slow.

Florida has not yet played Leonard Fournette. I'm sure we can arrange for an asterisk to be placed next to their post-Fournette stat line.

Kendall Beckwith is one of the two best MLBs in the SEC (along with Reggie Ragland). We feel pretty good.
