I got banned about a week before the BCSCG so I don't think I was able to do one for that game.
OHHHHH.... I respect this run. I have to arrange roses before every game. All of the games that we've lost since 2008 were games where I couldn't find crimson and white roses and arrange them in the same crystal vase.

Its crazy that we all have strange superstitions.

I changed my phone's background to the LSU schedule a couple of weekends ago. Then LSU played bad in the past two weekends, so I changed it back to what I had previously

I wear the same bra, panties, shirt, jeans, scarf, earrings, necklace, and shoes to every game while we are winning. I have a summer outfit and a winter outfit. I do wash them all after every game though. I'm not nasty.

I am very superstitious. I think I get it from when I worked with sports. I will wear the same outfit to games as long as we are winning, unless the weather changes.
My mom got my stepdad a new North Face Crimson Fleece and he wore it for the first time during the first LSU-Alabama game. He hasn't worn it since because it's bad luck. I wore it over something else the other night thinking we wouldn't need luck against Ole Miss... they started giving trouble, and so I had to rush and change all of my clothes to my lucky ones. I came back just in time to see Alabama's little string of interceptions and good ref calls.
So now I'm stuck with this stupid toxic Crimson fleece. I'm scared to wear it even on non game days. I'm trying to figure out if it's a bad seed or if I can exorcise the demons with some sort of ritual.

I also have superstitious attire when attending games.

My mom will leave the room if LSU is playing bad. If they start playing good while she is out of the room, she won't come back in until the game is over. She stayed in the kitchen sitting at the bar for several games.

What is yours? Is it a hat, shirt, socks, what?
Posted on 10/5/12 at 4:24 pm to MSCoastTigerGirl
My mom does that. I'm the opposite. Whenever I leave the room, something bad happens. They won't even let me go to the bathroom, which sucks when you've been drinking and you aren't watching the game on CBS.

I don't GAF how bad we are playing. I'm not leaving the room. I'm watching the whole game.
If I am at home watching the game, my dog has to be sitting in the chair with me. We have never lost when he is sitting in the chair with me.

I have a visor that I use for emergencies. Used to be a hat but that died.
Panties, a warm weather outfit, cool weather outfit, and then I have the National Championship outfit that I wore to the 2009 SECCG, Pasadena and New Orleans games, so that one is super magical and isn't subjected to regular season games, or even dinky bowl games. I keep the same shaker for as long as we are winning, and then throw it away when we lose.

It's good to know that I'm not the only crazy one.

Do you wash them between games? I know people that don't.

You are worried about every team, every week.

I used to work with high school sports. My baseball players wouldn't wash their socks all season.
One year they all wore Barbie band aids every game because I ran out of band aids and I stopped at DG on the way to the school and that's all they had. I put one on a guy and he hit a HR. they wore them for the rest of the season.

As a formeer HS baseball player I can confirm that we are a different breed of superstituous..but not washing socks is repulsive
They get stiff and smell like death

Nope...
I wonder what the score would have been if DS had done his worry thread before the BCS game. Maybe it's all his fault. Maybe this one little thread is assigned by the elves of universe luck to be the lasso of good vibes for LSU, and without it, there was nothing holding together all of the other LSU fans' good luck energy as it descended upon the team before the game.
