You know what is really ironic about this thread. It's started by an Agony&Misery fan..whose team hasn't won any kind of championshipm in this millenium. In fact, the last time they won something..the B12 championship...they got waxed by none other than the Buckeyes in the Sugar Bowl.
Dude..you are both dumb and uniformed. And here's a suggestion. Get a good team again..you know one of those once in 15-20 years or so teams that is actually good enough to play Ohio State somewhere where Ohio State typically plays (BCS bowls)..and come get your arse waxed again and then go back and complain about our schedule.

Somebody has to tell you what you're too weak to hear. This isn't a "conference". It's a collective. Bert is the perfect example of how the SEC is much tougher. He was on pace to be Wisconsin's winningest coach ever and to a hall of fame coaching career. Now in the SEC he is 2-15 in conference play.

tOSU and Michigan State have the lowest odds to win the National Title (and it's not about their conference being weak because you still have to win two games against the Top 4 teams in the country at the end.)
Then Baylor, Notre Dame, then LSU, TCU, then Southern Cal and then Alabama and UCLA and then Georgia.
Public perception doesn't rate the SEC above the rest anymore...neither do the pollsters. It's a fact.
We need to take our heads out of the sand and accept that tOSU and our bowl record last year has shifted the landscape.
And smart people go with the public perception.

It is big and bad because it is a collective of fine southern folk who banded together to fight against the B1G and PAC pricks who tried for ages to keep them down. Yes, we have strength in numbers and if Big 12 folks had gotten their heads out of their collective asses they would have realized they got played by the B1G and the PAC by letting the mighty Big 12 fall from the top of the P5 (with the SEC) to the bottom of the P5 (with the ACC)
You can be angry at our bitches (MU and TAMU) all you want but who are you really angry at?

The pledges for getting out?

The Corn People for letting the B1G bust up the band?

The B1G for acting like the CIC mattered in sports?
The B1G for acting like only B1G schools can be good academically?
The B1G and PAC for making the Sooners go to court in the first place?
The Hogs for telling Texas to F*ck Off while the Sooners say yes to Texas?
I could go on but you seem to have so much displacement anger you will never see the truth until it is far too late. It will be to bad someday when you become the next Nebraska after their nuts were cut and they left the Big 12. Look, here is a bit of history for you and it comes from little ole Vandy. Before the Sooners played the State Fair in TX it was Vandy who was kicking Bevo's arse. Utx god mad at Vandy for winning so they put the Sooners there instead.
Vandy was smart to get away, Sooners, not so much.

I'm not "angry" at anybody. I'm laughing at your cult-like delusion that you perpetuate on each other and that you think other conferences were "out to get you". You aren't banding together and circling your wagons as a "southern folk" family. Your shitty teams, which is most of them, hang from the nutsacks of the top three teams that have accomplished it all while their own teams have languished in obscurity and failure. That way, everybody is a winner.

OU is not in financial trouble and has a lot more money than ucla ever will have. OU brings in more money a year than every SEC team but Alabama. They use no state money for football whatsoever that's how rich OU is. Dumbfrick

Yeah right. I have family from the south that fought for TX and still live there. They are southern as hell. I have family in MO and they went yankee in the 1930's during the Great Depression so you have me there.

I see you have no idea of the history. Between the early 50's to the late 70's (roughly 30 years) the NCAA was run by a dictator with allegiance to just the B1G and PAC schools. Why do you think Oklahoma had to go to the Supreme Court? Why do you think not 1 B1G or 1 PAC crossed the NCAA line to join the CFA?
That is modern history and has nothing to do with the 1860's

Pac-12 has more National Titles than three conferences combined.
It's why they are called by the media "the Conference of Champions"
They have like 500 while the Big10 has about 200 and the SEC has like 50.
In fact, in all of history.
The Top 3 schools in the entire nation are all from the Pac-12.
Most National Championships by school -
1. UCLA
2. Stanford
3. Southern Cal
SEC doesn't show up until Arkansas at 6.
Pac-12 has the most football, most basketball and most baseball National Titles.
The Big 3 - Pac-12 owns them all.
