I'm sure most State fans are relieved they did not make it to Omaha.

Their baseball team was a big distraction for their fan base, their real "Omaha" or "Super Bowl" is the judgement of The University of Mississippi.
Their baseball team making it to Omaha was a distraction that wasn't needed for their fan base, they need to have their full attention on making up hypotheticals and what ifs about The University of Mississippi's position with the NCAA.

we all knew our luck would run out with 7 people on the pitching staff counting 2 field players 2 starters and 3 relievers. carry on though. What's interesting is that you act like it was some kind of incredible feat beating us. none of us expected to make it to the supers. we had 7 pitchers out with TJ surgery and 2 out with other injuries.. most of us understand that the super bowl is played in professional football... aka The NFL.

LSU is a better team than Oregon State.

Debatable. When you only lose 4 games in a season, that's remarkable at any level.
