Fair enough. Put one of those “House Divided” pictures on your account.

Who did you pull for when LSU played Texas in 2019?

I was at the game in the student section, so I was cheering more for Texas at that game. But I wasn't upset with the outcome.

What’s your story (briefly please ). Why the allegiance to both schools?

I'm from Louisiana. I moved to Austin specifically for school. I had this account before the idea of attending UT Austin was a thought in my mind when I went back to school.

No one is in shock Bama lost to Michigan. We’ve seen the devolution of Saban teams since the last championship (2017). If there’s any reason to be in shock it would be that the universe didn’t pull a freebie out of its arse for you this time.

You didn’t deserve to win, didn’t deserve to be in that game, didn’t deserve to beat UGA, didn’t deserve to beat Auburn, but you DO deserve 5 more years of old man river giving you false hopes.

It is still better than being an Aggie at the very least.

You could change the badge next to your username to Texas, that way you have both of your bases covered.

I understand it's not what Bama is used to seeing happen, but everyone else isn't used to seeing superman bleed either.....welcome to mortality.

Bama has had since 2017 to get used to it. This is not new. Their dynasty was admirable, but it ended in 2017. Clemson signaled that when they stomped a mudhole in Saban’s squad the next year. THAT was something new. The following year LSU dominated them in Tuscaloosa when Bama never had the ball in the fourth quarter with a chance to tie or take the lead. This in spite of Derek Stingley uncharacteristically giving up two bombs for TDs. Since then Bama has been one of the best teams in the country every year - but only ONE OF the best. Still a great program their fans should be proud of but not the dynasty Saban masterfully constructed.

I loved Saban when he was at LSU, and I’ve enjoyed watching his Bama teams. But the sun is setting on that great man, as it always does. It’s a tribute to him that even in his twilight his teams are competing for the championship.

OP is sad? I was happy. This entire season was a miracle Bama even won as much as they did and over-achieved. How could anyone have predicted they would have even made the playoffs with the terrible decisions Saban made and Milroe at QB. Saban can't continue the dynasty if he continues to make bad decisions and be a wuss at correcting them. In the words of Bear Bryant, “It's not the will to win that matters – everyone has that. It's the will to prepare to win that matters.” This means YOU too Saban or has his coaching skills got so bad he can't even do this. Especially on offense.

You better hope you aren't fighting for a spot in a 12 team playoff.
Alabama should be a lock for it.

The old Nick wouldn't have ambulance chased Jordan Travis.

And then Nick resorted to playing the "Disrespect" card to sucker punch Florida State out of a slot.

I wonder if Sankey will finally do something about the SEC officiating since it lead to the embarrassment of the SEC.

Using Non-SEC officials in the SECCG might be a good step since it is now a de facto part of the playoff system.

No troll, but I am as well. I really thought Michigan wanting to play bully ball was playing right into Alabama’s hands. Michigan’s physicality for the most part dominated most of the game in the trenches.

I believe we are allowing a few memorable plays to make everyone recall the game a little wrong. The game wouldn't have been so close if Bama would have gotten bullied. They also had a complete drive they rushed it down their throat. Michigan just won the ones that counted.

The point is, almost no one has been able to physically dominate Alabama like that for years. Michigan did, and for most of the game.

Not the rest of the football world. With Milroe, that was bound to happen and I, for one, and thrilled it happened on a huge stage .

Bama under Saban doesn’t get “pummeled “ by anyone.
