So the two WS rings are a gotcha moment to a Cardinal fan?

Yea, that's pretty stupid. Cardinals hold their own. Especially compared to the fricking Marlins

I have had fun gradually getting more involved the last 3 years since the SECn launch. Having so many of the conference's games streamed on SECN/Watch ESPN has really helped as well.

Yes. It's a very underrated place to watch a game.

Just saw this... I am with you.

The Rams leaving STL finished the NFL for me and
I am paying less and less attention to the Cards.

Football is boring, 1 - nil games do nothing for me.

Maybe I am just old.

Anyway, I am kind of getting into the college BB thing too. Tiger fan so here's hoping they are respectable. Liking the new coach so far.

Go Tigers!

It's a shame you Floridians don't support MLB. Should give one of your franchises to the much more deserving Carolina's. That's a market that should have been served before Tampa and Miami.

I can't see an MLB franchise coming to the Carolina's. The Braves are the most popular pro sports team in SC and are by far the most popular MLB team in NC. Watching the Braves on TBS during the summer brings back fond memories for a lot of us down here. Can't see a new franchise winning over many fans.

An MLB franchise would kill in Charlotte.

if you are a fan of baseball, you should be a fan of college baseball. yes, it is different from the pro's but so is college football different from the NFL. aside from the metal bats, it is almost identical and very fun to watch. baseball is baseball. I like every level of the game. I once watched young girls play cabbage ball in New Orleans and loved the game. those girls could play.

if you have played baseball at least at the high school level, you can greatly admire players' skills and you also know what's actually going on out there. I call that the "hidden game"; the part of the game non-players don't know exist; the signs by the offense and defense, the pitching change decisions, etc, etc. great stuff.

welcome to a great sport.

The talent makes college baseball hard to adapt too, but the atmosphere is kick arse
