I think we have a shot because Jones is like Daddy Dale and we play up to who we play. However OU is really fricking good so who knows what will happen.

this challenge could get ugly

This too shall pass.

Granted, since its like the Pelphrey years for us, it will pass like a pine cone on fire through the Missouri colon... but it will pass.

Glad to see we weren't complacent last night and kept our foot on the gas. I think the once in two decades loss to Auburn served as a good wake up call and a motivator for this team. They are talented but not superstars like some of our past teams. Like the Brandon Knight squad, we can be an extremely effective unit if we continue progressing as we are come March. Missouri fell at the right time on our schedule as we needed the feel good warmup to prep for the real game Saturday @ Kansas.

Well, the sad thing is, we've just gotten numb to this crap. K. Anderson never had a chance with the mess frank haith left here. No talent left on the roster, no discipline with the players, NCAA issues, all kinds of good stuff.

Anderson wasn't hired because of the boosters btw, he was hired because Mike Alden was terrible at running a basketball program. He'd swing for the big guys, lastly Marshall, miss, then instead of going to plan B, he'd go to plan Z. There were coaches who were interested in the job, but Alden wouldn't touch them because of perceived NCAA issues, which is funny in a sad kind of way because two or the three previous coaches he hired had NCAA issues. That's how you end up with Anderson, because Alden knew he'd take the job, and he knew he could low ball him. In a way it was kind of a big middle finger to Mizzou going back to when Alden pushed Norm Stewart out in 1999.

Sorry, I'm rambling here because I'm still in shock at what's become of Mizzou basketball.

We're 86-26 against LSU. Cal is 8-2 v LSU, soon to be 9-2. Why are you even talking?
