You guys are good at football.
And I know how you feel, every night before I go to bed I put on one of the t-shirts they gave us for winning first place in a slow pitch softball fundraiser tournament we had for the local summer league one year. It really helps me find peace during these times of woe and want.

People only raised hell because no matter how u counted we still had way more.
What always got me was nobody wanted to credit us split titles but we're always quick award the title to who we split it with. Just stupid and bitching to be bitching.
Notre dame claims over half their national championships before they even participated in bowls but I guess that somehow doesn't make a difference with folks. Only Bama can't claim those. Stupid idiots who just want to bitch.
We've got the most poll titles. King of college football. I'm good.

I have no qualms with Bama claimimg all the titles but one, and you know what it is. It should be an embarrassment to all alumni and fans that the school actually inscribes 1941 in stone on campus along with the many legitimate titles. Alabama sports information director Wayne Atcheson added five pre-Bear Bryant national titles to Bear's official six in 1986. And I don't care what Houlgate or whoever thought, you don't get shut out by Mississippi State (conference champ) and Vandy (second place), and finish 20th in the AP poll behind four SEC teams, and call yourself the national champion.

Meh. I dont really care. Bama has won 4 of the last 7 and thats more than most schools have won in their entire history. No one can dispute those.

Perhaps I can help with that. We got shut out by MSU, just as y'all did. But that was our only loss, as we won the other 11 games by an average score of 30-6. Y'all were shut out by Vandy also, for the second loss, while we beat Vandy 43-0. We finished 4th in the AP, while y'all finished 20th.

1937 - 9-1
1945 - 10-0
1962 - 10-1
1966 - 11-0

In 1941, we didn't win the SEC or a major poll.
In 1950, y'all didn't win the SEC or a major poll.
