It’s been a long time coming, but I’m finally broken. Year after year of optimism followed by crushing defeats and I kept coming back. This time I have to turn away. The team I love has lost what little pride they had left. I watched the 15th most talented team in college football not care that they were getting whipped at every phase of the game by a Sun Belt team. I watched a coaching staff with no fire and no aggression. I’m done investing emotion in a team that shows no pride or effort. Nothing good comes from it.

That’s the thing though. Y’all weren’t the 15th most talented team. The Tennessee mindset is still with you. You have not hit rock bottom yet. Your body is not ready for recovery.

No people let those metric gas them up but at the end of the day you can’t put metrics on how hard a kid plays and what effort they give or how competive they are. They can give you a metric on how physically mature they are compared to other kids but that’s it.
