Tron Legacy

Probably the greatest Music video ever made (Thriller might still top it because it is damn good and a classic).

I love the Tron Series.

I have the 20th anniversary Tron 2 disc collectors edition.

Now they re-released it with Tron Legacy & called it "Tron: The Original Classic" or some BS like that.

I loved Tron Legacy because if you didn't see the first Tron it could stand alone on it's own, but if you were a fan of the original, they dropped so many shout-outs to the first one that it made fanboys like me happy.

Even with shipping, it's hard to beat ebay & amazon.

Yep. I get most of my book off of Amazon. I got 3 James Patterson hardbacks for $12 a couple weeks ago. If you can find someone selling with free or no shipping it is almost always cheaper.

I'll compare the price of things on ebay to places like best buy, including shipping, and if it's the same I'll just go to best buy and get it.

But i've gotten out of the habit of looking only at buy it now stuff on ebay, and I've saved a ton of money by bidding on stuff with about a 3 minutes left and winning.

I won't pretend to be a super fan of Tron, but I did watch the original as little kid and was familiar with it well before Tron Legacy came out. It had been so long since I had seen it that a lot of the references probably passed over me. I have since re-watched them both and I picked up on more of the references.

I don't believe I own either, but I need to find a box set and pick it up. The first is quite a cult classic.

A very unique video to say the least. I enjoy the song, but it doesn't "wow" me or anything. I think that probably detracts from my opinions of the video.

I haven't looked at the special features on the new release of Tron, but the 20th anniversary version has a ton of nerdy stuff on it.

That's the best way to do it.

It's not really a "wow" song, I just consider it a great video considering when the video was made.

Agreed. The animation and transition from "real" to "drawing" was pretty unique and cutting edge at that time.

I find him to be a genuinely good guy who I have a very indifferent attitude for. Also, the media has some weird obsession with him and likes to talk about him all the fricking time.

I like the new Tron, didn't care for the older one.
