Saban feels guilty for all of the easy shite schedues and preferential treatment in 2011

We know why he's pushing it

Next time LSU gets to travel to Athens is in 11 years.

Well LSU, it'll be nice to see you come to Columbia eventually. Like I said in another thread, my four year old will be able to drive then, but....

There's another answer but only LSU wants it. I'd be cool with 9 games though.

I'm pretty frustrated that we only have Georgia on the schedule once before 2025

Don't worry, when it is time for Alabama to play them, we will have new bridge schedules and end up takings Bama's place again.

At this point I'm just used to it.

But I'm gonna laugh my arse off if Kentucky ever gets good enough that it backfires on someone.

Just reading the thread, there is no argument that would prove me wrong.

Funny how Bama's rotate with states that are next to each other.

No one else's have that geographic uniformity.

Bama borders Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia. That covers over half of the sec east. If we exclude Tennesee because they are a permanent opponent, that means Bama will be playing a team from a border state 50% of the time and the percentage cannot be lower. Add in the fact that Bama played Mizzou during Mizzou's first year in the conference and it's obvious why they would play other SEC west teams before coming back to Bama.

Would you rather Bama drew Kentucky or South Carolina? I'd love to get South Carolina more while Spurrier is coaching but I'm sure you'd be complaining about Bama getting an easy draw if they were playing Kentucky instead of Vandy, UGA, or UF.

ETA: I just looked at Bama's rotation and saw they get UK in 16 and Mizzou in 18. And @ South Carolina in 19. That means that from 15-19 Bama plays 2 border state teams and 3 from other states. Your complaint makes even less sense now.

AKA Saban is the only coach confident enough in himself and his players to play a 9 game schedule.

Well, maybe he just wants a change from his usual 2 game season
