Trolls masking as legit sports journalist. We laugh now because its not our program but eventually they'll gt tired of Auburn and move to a Different school. Might be one you care about then.
We need to stand together against this lazy biased "journalism" which can only serve to weaken sec stranglehold on college football. Eventually these frickers need to come with some proof or stfu!

So you're saying that you believe that all of this is just one big troll against auburn?

ESPN reported that the father of a former Auburn player says then-offensive coordinator Malzahn (and other coaches) asked family members of current players to "visit" with high school recruits and sell Auburn.

Is this a new allegation? What report did this come from?

I guess you can look at it two ways:

1. "Wow all this smoke must mean there is fire."

2. "Smoke is bullshite, show me the fire or gtfo."

Not saying that all the accusations are a coordinated troll but these "journalists" taking pot shots without any real evidence are certainly trolling anyone who reads their crap and hits their websites.

As a Bama fan, I know it existed with us. It took us almost getting the axe to correct it.

this thread is about auburn, not Saban. Try staying on topic please.

Let me get this straight. You make a comment about Alabama that I reference in my post. Then you proceed to tell me this isn't about Saban, who is the head coach at Bama, while also asking me to stay on topic?

You might want to go back and read who posted that 1st quote...it wasn't me.

Regarding the culture with Dye, an old story I heard from several different AU sources was that a supporter owned multiple cleaners in & around town & the players were directed to bring their clothes to be "cleaned" each wk. When the clothes were picked up, there was differing amounts of money placed in coat/pants pockets. Bo supposedly got the most based on individual game performances. From what I heard, the Little General stopped the practice as soon as he heard bout it. Any truth to this? Not meant as a knock, just an old story that would seem to fit right in with this new reference to the culture at AU now.
