Only because Jeremy Hill didn't play this week. He'll take back his title Saturday though.

No. 3 Mettenberger INTs lost the game against Ole Miss and Miles' quarter benching of Hill. If poor QB play is an excuse then call it what you want.

Not saying that Ole Miss didnt win the game. They showed up to play and we didnt.

Mason's getting the carries, because the options are limited. Against Arkansas:

ATT...YDS...TD...AVG

Tre Mason 32 168 4 5.3
Nick Marshall 9 59 0 6.6
Cameron Artis-Payne 2 5 0 2.5

Bama

Derrick Henry 6 111 1 18.5
Kenyan Drake 8 104 2 13.0
T.J. Yeldon 12 88 1 7.3
Dee Hart 4 24 0 6.0

Mett will fold like a cheap tent against Bama's D. Without a run threat at QB against Bama you are toast.

Ok. So both sides have sucked each other off in this thread. Point made.

It's true. Look at the teams that have beaten Bama in their haydays (you guys included). You need a run threat at QB.

Like I said, frick Auburn, but contrary to what most people want to believe, I love good football, even if it's from the little brother school. It'd be blind homerism to ignore what they're doing just because I hate them.

It's like when Andre Agassi was questioned why he acknowledged a good play/shot by an opposing player. Not that he didn't want to win, or that he even liked the guy ....but there is nothing wrong with recognizing good play/ talent. He was a fan as well as player. I don't want Bama to ever lose to AU, but to recognize AU isn't the same team from last year, or even the same team from Aug 31 is being intentionally blind.

Stop acting like a fricktard, Beer Bryant.

Auburn has easily been the best team in the SEC to separate carries to 4 different players. Cam Artis-Payne, Tre Mason, Corey Grant, and Nick Marshall are all in the top 17 in the SEC in rushing yards. Is there another team with that many players in the top 17? No, there's not.

I'm glad Auburn is on your mind again 24/7, though.

Yeah, I've never understood why people say you're "sucking the other teams dick" by giving players props. It's an asinine premise that can't be believed by any logically minded person, especially one that claims to be a fan of football.

Soon enough, someone will start another "the state of alabama is best at football" thread again where you blow each other.

Seems like the coaches and poll voters agree.

That's a perfect picture to represent the fanbases of Auburn and Alabama. Well done sir.
