How is CBS legally gonna get away with showing a pussy getting penetrated on national TV?

Would it be petty of me to say yes... in the hopes that meteor strike happens?
No... no... I jest. A blimp crash maybe.

Till the end of the first quarter when the game will be over. Then I'll pop in National Lampoons Christmas Vacation to watch the 100th time.

This about sums it up for me. Although if the game is close in the first half and UF is close at the break, turn it off then. Bama always turns the heat up on teams in the second half and puts them to sleep with either a long drive or a quick strike to begin the second half. The key thing is that the opponent is rarely able to match scores, a quick three and out, Bama scores again and it's good night sweetheart.

Intrigue will be there if the Gators beat FSU and Auburn shocks Bama. Not even Bama gets in the playoff if they happen to lose these 2 games.

Assuming we beat Auburn, yes, there's a very strong possibility we've already clinched our playoff spot regardless of the outcome.
However winning the SEC Championship is still a big deal.
It would make UF's whole season.
If Alabama doesn't win the national title having an SEC title banked makes the season somewhat worthwhile, it would also be 3 in a row.
If we lose in the playoffs and don't even have an SEC title Bama's gonna feel liek the season was a complete catastrophe.

This year could be the year that starts the push for an 8 team playoff.
I sincerely hope not.
If you go to an 8 team playoff then the conference championship games become forever meaningless. You'll have about 4 teams with 'clinched' playoff spots going into the conference title games every year. Expanding the field will render the regular season games way less meaningful.
4 is the right number, it's just big enough to get the truly deserving teams in and not big enough that it ruins the importance of the regular season.

seems like every year it's going to be Bama, OSU, and then two others that rotate through

Zero on the line. Zero intrigue. Bama could lose (though they wont) and still go to the playoffs. What's the point of watching it? Or playing it for that matter...
Of all the posts I take delight in observing, the ones where an emotional fan lashes out at the football gods by proclaiming he will not watch a particular Bama game are among my favorite. Right up there with LSU fans talking about refs. Carry on my man.

I just want to see how bad Bama beats Florida.

I will likely watch, but I don't consider it a very intriguing matchup.
Florida's offense is bad and I expect it to look a lot like LSU's against Alabama.
