And I think it's pretty close, all things considered.

It just gets really old hearing Ole Miss fans talk like what they've done puts them in elite territory. They've been elite for their program, but what they've done over the last 3 years are results that got mark richt fired and les miles on the hot seat, for some perspective.

Les Miles wouldn't be on the hot seat if he could beat Bama and develop a QB. We are not Bama or LSU, but not many other schools can talk. UT hasn't done anything in a LONG time. Truth is, if we had been in the SEC east the past couple years we would have won 10 games. Playing LSU, Alabama, and Auburn every year makes it pretty damn difficult especially considering the past decade consists of 2 years of Ed Orgeron and 4 years of Houton Nutt for us. At the end of the day, Ole Miss has a 46 year old coach who has his dream job and has improved every year. How many programs does that list consist of?

what put les miles on the hot seat was getting blown out by arkansas and ole miss, not losing to alabama. ole miss, much like texas a&m did, thinks they're elite because they beat alabama. one game does not define a program.

These standards seem way too low. I'm sure everyone in the SEC easily has, multiple times.

Kentucky actually has done it. Vandy at least has some sort of excuse as a smaller private school renowned for academics.

Ole Miss thinks they're elite because they are clearly the second best program in the best conference in all of college football.

No jackass decade is a period of ten years. If he said in a decade or the last decade he's talking about in the last ten years. Wow! I didn't know people were this dumb. I don't know who that poster was, but after I saw that mistake twice I felt that I needed to step in and educate.

they were probably the 2nd best team in the SEC for one season. One season does not make your program 2nd best

There are reasons Ole Miss and Alabama are the only two schools other fanbases are constantly talking about.

And it's delicious. VolsNShaft, I hope that you post 5 or 6 more threads tonight during your endless amounts of free time thinking about us.

Is this legit? I thought they won ten in 55? Could be wrong.
