I seem to recall Clemson beating LSU pretty recently.
Truth is, every single one of the "big 6" SEC schools has lost OOC games on a big stage, it just happens sometimes. The difference is for every one loss there are about 5-6 wins.
The SEC crushes 10 OOC opponents in a row and then loses to the 11th and that somehow "proves" the rest of the country can hang with the SEC.
That's just desperation from the opposition.

If it's common, it isn't impressive
But its not common. Only 4 teams out of 14 can boast of a trophy case like that. LSU, Alabama, Florida, and Auburn. 72% of the SEC wish their teams would win like that. There isnt a team in the country that has a trophy case like those 4 teams since 2000
